New Ashford Burn Permits 2025
Massachusetts allows residents to burn brush between January 15 and May 1. You must obtain permission from the town by getting a permit at http://www.bcburnpermits.com/. Visit this site between 8:30 AM and 1:00 PM to obtain a permit on the day you want to burn brush. Permit availability on a given day will depend on weather conditions.

Notice is hereby given that a Tax Classification Hearing for determining the fiscal year 2023 tax levy distributions and property tax rates for the Town will be held on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. in person at the New Ashford Town Hall. Error in first half Tax Bills
To All Residents,
There was an error in the most recent first half tax bills. The tax bills you received were created and sent out using the FY 2021 assessed values. After consulting with the DOR and per Massachusetts G.L. c. 59, § 75, bills must be reissued. Payments already made will be returned and corrected tax bills will be reprinted and will be sent out as soon as possible.
